Monash Business School’s Centre for Development Economics and Sustainability, together with its Centre for Global Business, are pleased to host an evening with Dr Zsoka Koczan from the World Economic Studies Division of the Research Department at the IMF to discuss issues facing the global economy based on the recently launched issue of the IMF’s flagship publication, World Economic Outlook October 2017.

About the speaker

Zsoka Koczan is a co-author of the IMF’s October 2017 World Economic Outlook, and in particular the chapter on the drivers of the slowdown in wage growth in advanced economies.  
Her research interests extend across applied microeconomics, inequality and migration, and she has previously worked in the IMF’s European Department and at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. She holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge.
