Monash Open Day is back in business, in person
10 August 2022
And we’re back!
Thousands of people flocked to Monash Business School over the weekend as Monash University’s Open Day kicked off.
Held at the Peninsula campus on Saturday August 6 and Caulfield and Clayton campuses on Sunday August 7, this was the first in-person Open Day held since 2019.
An estimated 7000 prospective students and their families gathered to explore the world of business through presentations, fun interactive activities, giveaways and one-on-one discussions with alumni, staff and current students.
Most lectures were filled to capacity or standing-room only, with one Marketing session attracting a record 90 attendees.
But the day wasn’t all business, with visitors enjoying some fun, live entertainment and freebies.
The Monash Business School Personality Wall – where future undergraduates learned which business careers would best suit their personality and passions – was again one of the most popular features.

Deputy Dean, Education, Professor Robert Brooks, who presented several information sessions at Peninsula and Clayton, said it was great to have Open Day back on-campus.
“I was delighted to be part of the team and event that expertly showcased our broad course offerings and diverse campuses,” Professor Brooks said.
