Dr Lai Hoang

Research Fellow

Lai Hoang joined the MCFS as a Research Fellow in November 2022 after finishing his PhD in Finance from the University of Western Australia. His research expertise covers various finance topics, including cryptocurrencies, institutional and insider trading, corporate social responsibility, and the interconnectedness between financial markets and asset classes. His works have been published in internationally recognised finance journals such as the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of Futures Markets, and the European Journal of Finance. He has also taught various finance, banking, and investment courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in different universities in Australia, New Zealand and Vietnam.
