Our Department of Accounting research expertise includes financial accounting and management accounting, as well as auditing and accounting information systems using archival, experimental and field research.

Banking and Finance
Our Department of Banking and Finance research expertise includes asset pricing, banking, behavioural finance, corporate finance, superannuation and funds management.

Business Law and Taxation
Our Department of Business Law and Taxation research expertise includes consumer and commercial law, corporate law and corporate social responsibility, taxation law and policy, labour law, equality and human rights, international trade law, and comparative business law and regulation in Asia.

Econometrics and Business Statistics
Our Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics research expertise includes actuarial science, applied statistics, Bayesian econometrics and statistics, computational statistics, data visualisation and business analytics, econometric theory, empirical development economics, financial econometrics, forecasting, macro-econometrics, micro-econometrics, non-parametric statistics, operations research, and time series analysis.

Economics
Our Department of Economics undertakes research expertise includes behavioural and experimental economics, development and sustainability, environmental and resource economics, macroeconomics, network economics, industrial organisation and business strategy, and applied microeconomics.

Health Economics
Our Centre for Health Economics research expertise extends across the entire breadth of the health economics field. Primary focus areas include economic evaluation of health programs, socioeconomic determinants and dynamics of health and subjective wellbeing, measuring quality of life and social preferences, and preferences, choice, behaviour and performance in the health system.

Management
Our Department of Management comprises a number of specialist research groups including Australian Consortium for Research on Employment and Work, Leadership Research Group, Global Value Chain Research Unit, Critical Reorientations on Organisation and Society Group, Governance and Management in the Public Sector Research Group, and Health and Social Care Management Research Group.

Marketing
Our Department of Marketing undertakes research in brand management and marketing communications, business-to-business marketing, marketing capabilities and marketing strategy, consumer choice and decision-making, market modelling, retailing and services marketing and social marketing.
