1. Making an appointment through the Monash Business School Course Advice booking system. Please select the WIL internship opportunity in the drop-down menu 'reason for course advice'.
2. Submitting an online request for a course progression check.

In seeking course advice, nominate the WIL unit you wish to undertake and the unit(s) you may need to discontinue.

Step 2: Complete the WIL Internship Scholarship Proposal form

This form will assist us in assessing your application and determining how the internship will contribute to your course.

Step 3: Apply using the WIL Internship Application

You will need to be logged into your Monash student portal to access the application. For instructions, please see the InPlace Monash Business School Quick Reference Card.

Please select 'I would like the Monash Business School to find me a WIL internship' in the Type of internship field.

Please select 'Accounting – Scholarship' in the 'Course Major/Specialisations' list on your InPlace profile.

You will need to attach the following documents to your application:

  • Course Advice Confirmation
  • WIL Internship Scholarship Proposal Form
  • your updated resume

In order to be considered for this program, you must submit a complete online application. Partial applications will not be assessed.

Step 4: Application assessment

Your application will be assessed by the Monash Business School WIL Team to ensure the internship meets Monash Business School requirements.  Please note that a video interview is required as part of the selection process.

Step 5: Outcome advice and enrolment

The scholarship application process is highly competitive with a limited number of scholarships available. Unfortunately, not all eligible applicants will receive an internship.

Shortlisted candidates will be notified to attend interviews. Non-shortlisted candidates will be contacted and advised by 13 October 2017.

If you have been successful after the interviews, you will be advised of your interview outcome by the Monash Business School WIL Team.  If successful, your enrolment will be processed and you will be required to confirm in WES. Unsuccessful candidates will be advised by email.

Step 6: Moodle - Unit assessment information

Once you have received confirmation of enrolment you will have access to the relevant Moodle site where you will find details regarding your assessment.
