Anne Lytle

Anne Lytle is Professor of Management and Director, Leadership at Monash Business School. She has a BSc in Neurobiology and Psychology from Cornell University. She gained her MSc in Organisational Behaviour from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, where she also completed her PhD in the area of culture and negotiation.

Anne leads and teaches the suite of Leadership units on the Monash MBA program.

Prior to joining Monash Business School, Anne was Director of Lytle and Associates Pty Ltd. Her previous academic positions include MBA, EMBA and executive education teaching at the University of Michigan; the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Australian Graduate School of Management, University of New South Wales and Melbourne Business School.

Anne has published widely across a range of HR and applied psychology topics, with a particular interest in the role of culture in negotiation, leadership and organisational decision-making. Her areas of specialisation include leadership, managing people for high performance, negotiation, conflict management, and emotional intelligence.

She has extensive experience in designing and delivering corporate training for clients world-wide, from the government services sector to major multinationals.
