What to bring

You'll need a change of clothes whether you plan to swim or not, as other water activities will mean your clothes will get wet.

Swimwear is encouraged for swimming, but we're not overly strict on what you wear. Many people are more comfortable in a t-shirt and shorts. You can still wear headwear if preferred.

To ensure you're comfortable throughout the day, here's what you should bring:

  • clothes for swimming / water activities (e.g. bathers or swimsuit)
  • towel
  • sunscreen
  • hat
  • drinking water
  • bag for your wet clothes
  • warm clothing, including a long-sleeved shirt in case of cool weather
  • flat, sensible shoes / sandals.
