Students who are parents
The University supports students who are parents and carers. We acknowledge a student’s right to breastfeed in public places and that it’s unlawful to discriminate on the basis of a person breastfeeding. We're committed to supporting you being able to breastfeed or express breastmilk while you're undertaking your studies.
If you have any particular needs, require some different arrangements, study flexibility, or have any concerns, please contact your faculty/department to make an appointment to discuss how they can help and what would work best for you.
If at any time you feel that you've not been fully supported, or feel you’ve been treated unfairly, and for advice relating to diversity, inclusive practice and equal opportunity at Monash, please contact:
