The Network industry members include 3M Australia, Agilent Technologies Australia, Axieo, BASF Australia, Dulux, Haymes, Nufarm, PerkinElmer, PPG, P&G, KPMG, CSIRO and EPA Victoria. The industry associations include the Chemistry Australia, the Australasian Industrial Research Group (AIRG), the national industry association for the Australasian hygiene, cosmetic and specialty products industry (ACCORD), SEMMA (South East Melbourne Manufacturing Alliance), SEMIP (South East Melbourne Innovation Precinct), the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO), and STC (Small Technologies Cluster).
The Training Program gives industry a role in fostering the next generation of chemical scientists and engineers, and clear opportunity to strengthen relationships with Monash Univesity and its chemical research capabilities. Indeed, many of the participating companies look forward to building a deeper partnership with Monash University. Key examples arising through participation in this program include: the PerkinElmer Flagship Facility at Monash University, and Axieo, an Australian owned SME, has established the Axieo Centre for Innovation.
