AI for Good Global Summit
The AI for Good Global Summit is the leading action-oriented United Nations platform promoting AI to advance health, climate, gender, inclusive prosperity, sustainable infrastructure, and other global development priorities. The goal of this global event is to identify practical applications of AI to accelerate progress towards the UN SDGs and connect AI innovators with public and private-sector decision-makers to help scale AI solutions globally.
The summit is designed to generate ‘AI for Good’ solutions able to be enacted in the near term, guided by its multi-stakeholder and interdisciplinary audience. It also prioritizes networking, experiences, and matchmaking to stimulate collaboration efforts to ensure trusted, safe, and inclusive development of AI technologies and equitable access to their benefits.

MDFI has been keenly engaged with the AI for Good Global Summit since 2020, organising a series of webinars showcasing Monash University’s research excellence in Artificial Intelligence for social good. The AI for Good digital platform has provided a collaborative space for AI innovators, researchers and problem owners to learn, build and connect, to help identify practical AI solutions to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
