ASK4AI Melbourne Summit 2024
Event date: 15 August 2024
Australia faces a critical skills gap as AI rapidly transforms industries and everyday life, necessitating innovative interdisciplinary solutions to address widening inequalities.
ASK4AI (Adaptive Skills and Knowledge for the Age of AI) brings together researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, and community members with a shared goal of preparing Australians for the increasing role of AI technologies. The initiative focuses on developing evidence-based practices and resources to equip individuals with essential adaptive skills. Through collaboration with partners, ASK4AI seeks to shape educational practices and policies, and to empower communities to navigate the challenges and opportunities of AI.
The ASK4AI Melbourne Summit, held at Monash College, Docklands, included keynote addresses that highlighted the transformative role of AI in human learning, education, and workforce development. There were also interactive sessions and opportunities for networking with national and global leaders in AI, technology, education, learning and development, assessment, and digital transformation.
