Caminschi Laboratory

Dendritic Cell Biology and Immunotherapy

Welcome to the Caminschi Lab

Our laboratory investigates the role of dendritic cells in immunity with the intent of applying this knowledge to the design of immunotherapies.

We're part of the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute, and a member of the Infection & Immunity and Cancer Programs, and the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Our research

Our group focuses of studying dendritic cells (DC) by analysing the cell surface receptors they express with the view that these receptors contribute to specialised functions. Ultimately the knowledge that we acquire is directed at generating better and safer vaccines.
