In a paper published late last year in the premier journal Science, a team co-led by Professor Jamie Rossjohn and Dr Jérôme Le Nours from the Monash BDI and ARC Centre of Excellence in Advanced Molecular Imaging, has redefined what we thought we knew about T cell recognition for the past 20 years. Understanding how T cells target and interact with cells is crucial to harnessing
their power in therapies such as infection and cancer immunotherapy.
