Professional experience
Professional experience is at the very heart of our teacher education, psychology, and counselling courses. Students are placed into a real-life professional setting, allowing them to practice what they have learnt during their studies and to further develop skills and confidence as a professional.
Teacher placements
Pre-service student teachers get to work with children in real educational settings, such as kindergartens, schools, or learning centres, while being supported and guided by a mentor teacher.
Clinical placements in psychology
Supervised professional experience activities and placements throughout the Psychology Masters programs allow you to apply your knowledge to real-life situations. During the supervised activities and placements you will develop confidence and the appropriate skills and professional competencies to become a professional psychologist.
Counselling professional placements
Supervised professional practice within the counselling industry for Master of Counselling students.
