Cool Kids Anxiety Program

The Cool Kids Anxiety Program is a cognitive behavioural therapy program designed to help young people manage anxiety and related difficulties. It relies on key evidence-based skills such as psychoeducation, cognitive restructuring, and exposure.

This program takes place over 10 sessions. The sessions are run by provisional psychologists, under the supervision of Ms Hayley Anthony, Educational and Developmental Psychologist. Hayley is an accredited Cool Kids provider.

The sessions are grouped into one of three age groups:

  • preschoolers (Cool Little Kids), parent sessions only
  • grades 1-6 (Cool Kids), parent and child sessions
  • teenagers in Year 7-12 (Chilled), adolescent sessions with support by parents

Parents are encouraged to actively help their child through the program.

The fee for the entire program is $550 per group member and payment is required prior to the first session. This payment covers all sessions, a parent workbook and a child workbook.
