Student Engagement Office

Student Engagement Office (SEO)

The Student Engagement Office is a team of students employed by the faculty to enhance and enrich the experience of all students in the faculty.

We are the first port of call for students in the Faculty of Education. Talk to us about:

  • your wellbeing and support,
  • our student community and communication,
  • your development and employability, and
  • help with orientations and transitions.

We also organise everything from O-Week activities and Wellness Carnivals, to Mock Interviews with real principals and the updated-monthly Roll Call blog.

Student engagement initiatives

We are responsible for developing and running projects related to student engagement. Here are some of the initiatives that we have launched.

Roll Call student newsletter

Roll Call is a newsletter made for students by students. We put it together and send it out once a month via email.

The Rack

The Rack is a resource that aims to help those going out on education placement find clothes appropriate for a school setting. At the Rack, we have a collection of clothing which has been kindly donated by Monash staff. Clothing can be borrowed for a gold coin donation and it’s yours for four weeks. After this you simply wash and return the clothes.

To borrow clothes, see us on campus.
