Simon Peter Larsen
Simon Peter Larsen is a PhD-student in the Sustainable Cities and Everyday Practices research group (SCEP) at Aalborg University, Denmark. In his research, Simon relies on theories of social practices to investigate how occupants perform space-heating practice in households which have been equipped with smart home technologies for enabling energy flexibility. This involves investigating changes in everyday life including how occupants perceive comfort and control. The PhD study is part of the interdisciplinary research project interHUB, investigating the role of buildings in the future energy system.
Simon will visit the Emerging Technologies Research Lab from February - July 2020.
