Abilash Ananthula has completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee in 2010 and his M.E in Structural Engineering from IISc Bangalore in 2013. Before pursuing his masters he worked as a Management Trainee Technical (Projects) at IISCO SAIL plant in Burnpur. His interest is in the keen exploration and understanding of fundamental science behind the Nature’s enigmatic control over the man-made infrastructure projects and thus develop and incorporate the suitable preventive measures in the design of such projects. Prior to joining the Academy, he has worked as a Lecturer at RGUKT IIIT Basar and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Practice at VNIT Nagpur. At the academy he would be working on a project titled: “Mitigation of wave forces on Coastal Bridges” under the supervision of Prof.Jayadipta Ghosh (IIT Bombay), Prof.BalajiRamakrishnan(IIT Bombay) and Prof.Colin Caprani(Monash University). His interests include sketching, swimming, exploring the scientific solutions over the prevalent societal issues, playing table tennis, etc.
