I have completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from the University of Pune in 2011. Later, I joined Symbiosis International University to pursue M.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication (ECE) with a focus on radar data processing. My master thesis is on meteors and high altitude radar data analysis. I was an assistant professor in the ECE department in SITRC (Nashik), where I taught Antenna & Wave Propagation and Digital Image Processing courses. Before beginning the Ph.D. program at IITB-Monash, I worked as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at the Center of Studies in Resources Engineering (CSRE), IIT Bombay in Microwave Remote Sensing Group (MRS).

Research Interests

I am an electronics and telecommunication engineer with a passion for Earth and space. Satellite imagery provides a powerful tool for science, engineering, security, and innovation. Promoting these capabilities are something I actively do through my research work. I am involved in remote
sensing applications for cryosphere dynamics (snow parameter retrieval) for better prediction of water resources. I have experience in calibrating ground radar data for the ionospheric applications, and synthetic aperture radar data handling. My career objective is to obtain a researcher position in the remote sensing application field so that I can associate myself with a dynamically progressing institution and the nation.
