These short courses aim to help engineering graduate research students develop and enhance their ‎research writing skills‎.

Short Course 1

Developing Fundamental Research Writing Skills (4 Classes)

Date: Tuesdays 3, 10, 17 & 24 March
Time: 1 - 2pm

This course is designed to help engineering graduate research students develop their ‎research writing skills‎. Participants will learn the fundamental concepts that underpin research writing. They will also be guided to enhance cohesion and coherence of their writing through class exercises and writing tasks.

The course will focus on a few key areas of English grammar that graduate students need to master in order to express themselves clearly and accurately in research writing.
