Monash is well known for its international presence, with a campus in Malaysia, as well as teaching centres in South Africa and Prato, Italy. Here in Monash Engineering, we provide a variety of opportunities for students to study overseas as part of their degree.
Why study overseas?
Studying overseas is a fantastic opportunity to experience different cultures, make new friends, and explore the world – all without postponing your studies. In the process, you’ll be exposed to new ways of learning and living, and you’ll get the opportunity to build an international network and develop your independence.
Monash Undergraduate Projects Abroad
Spend up to eight weeks over summer working in a research group at the University of Warwick in the UK or the University of California, San Diego, as part of the MURPA program.
Short-term overseas programs
Find out about the short term overseas study programs offered by other faculties at Monash. Complete an in-country language program, a study or cultural tour, or a practical placement – all for credit towards your course, and all organised by Monash.
