Dr. Hanaa Hegab

Hanaa Hegab is a research fellow-ARC Nanocomm Hub, Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Monash University. She received her MSc degree (2012) in Materials Science at the Institute of Graduate Studies & Research, Alexandria University. She was granted a KACST-Intel Consortium (CENA) scholarship at IMEC, Belgium (2011). She worked as a research assistant in the Advanced Technology and New Materials Research Institute “IATNM”, City of Scientific Research and Technological Applications, Alexandria, Egypt. She finished her PhD candidature in the School of Natural and Built Environment, University of South Australia (UniSA). Her research focuses on developing graphene–based polymeric nanocomposite membranes for industrial waste treatment applications. She has 24 publications and 1 US patent to her credit.
