The team has developed a Virtual Reality Autonomous Vehicle (VRAV) that enables on-road testing of autonomous vehicles, offering a potential means to test drivers’ responses to unsafe driving conditions.
The project is part of the Monash Infrastructure (MI) Interdisciplinary Research Seed Funding program.
ITS is the peak body for advanced transport technology in Australia and held its 2019 Awards Presentation Night Dinner on 21 November in Adelaide.
