Jaya is a current PhD student at Civil Engineering Department. He holds a Master’s Degree in Water Engineering and Management from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, and another Masters in HYDROPROTECH from University of Nice, France. Prior to joining Monash, he worked with the Stockholm Environment Institute as a Research Associate. Jaya started his PhD in 2016 under the main supervision of Prof. Jeffrey Walker. Currently, he is working on improving the rainfall estimation using mobile phone towers.
