Previous Hubs and Training Centres
Monash Engineering has a long and proud association with the Australian Research Centre’s flagship Centres of Excellence. Find out more about our involvement in previous ARC Hubs and Training Centres.
Previous ARC Research Hub
ARC Research Hub for Computational Particle Technology
We aim to develop and apply advanced theories and mathematical models to design and optimise processes used in the minerals and metallurgical industries.
ARC Research Hub for Transforming Australia's Manufacturing Industry through High Value Additive Manufacturing
This hub focuses on new additive manufacturing technology — also known as 3D printing — that can build components from metal alloy powders or wires by selective laser or electron beam melting.
The Bioprocessing Advanced Manufacturing Initiative (BAMI)
The focus of this hub was to convert plant cell raw materials from traditional paper and pulp industries into high-value marketable materials, chemical and energy products—such as smart packaging, fuel, green energy and new polymers and composites.
ARC Research Centre for Integrative Brain Function
The Centre contributed to the development of an integrated model of how the brain processes information and thereby advanced our understanding of how the brain interacts with the world.
ARC Research Centre for Robotic Vision
Robotic Vision Australia is a national community of researchers and professionals, passionate about the potential for robotics, computer vision and AI to solve many of the world’s grand challenges.
