This guide calls on organisers and catering suppliers to ensure that events held at Monash are as sustainable as possible. Checklists to assist in making events more sustainable are also available.
- Fairtrade tea / coffee as the default for all catering
- A minimum of 25% vegetarian options for catering order
- Reusable crockery and cutlery for all events
- Tap water in jugs rather than bottled water
- Locally sourced products
- Reduced packaging, waste, and water consumption
