Age of Disruption: Navigating the new world order

Event details

Monash University is proud to invite you to our European Symposia for 2018, to be held in Frankfurt, Paris and London. These three key European business hubs will play host to evenings of professional development and debate about the current state and future trends of global business and career outcomes for today's youth and tomorrow's leaders.

Our evening will begin with a talk from our keynote speaker and will be followed by a panel debate which will include representatives from both Monash University and UC Berkeley, who will provide diverse views and opinions on the global state of education and business.

Finally, our guests will have the opportunity to mingle and network over refreshments, as we bring together alumni, members of the higher education sector, government, industry, future students, and emerging leaders of tomorrow.

Join us for a special evening of discussion and networking featuring specialist speakers from industry and the education sector who will unpack these global business trends, challenges and opportunities. This event will also host the European launch of the Master of Global Business Program, and is not-to-be missed for education and industry professionals alike.

The Master of Global Business event is presented in conjunction with the UC Berkeley Haas Global Access Program.

About Monash

At Monash, the desire to make a difference informs everything we do.

We are a youthful organisation, enthusiastic, optimistic and accessible. We believe quality education and research can change the world for the better.

But we go beyond good intentions. We make an impact, both locally and internationally. We are a global university with a presence on four continents. And our plans for the future are ambitious.

From a single campus with fewer than 400 students, Monash has grown into a network of campuses, education centres and partnerships spanning the globe. With approximately 60,000 students (and 350,000 almuni) from over 170 countries, we are today Australia's largest university.

The University now offers a broad selection of courses within 10 faculties: Art, Design and Architecture; Arts; Business and Economics; Education; Engineering; Information Technology; Law; Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences; Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences; and Science.

To underscore the reputation that the University has earned, in 1999 we were invited to be a founding member of the Group of Eight, the coalition of Australia's most prestigious research-intensive universities.

We attract the best scholars, but we're not elitist. We open our doors to anyone who is prepared to work hard to make a difference.

From collaborative research opportunities, to building community relationships, our focus is always on how we can empower our people to make a positive impact on the world. Things like the bionic eye and the anti-flu drug Relenza.

Shared ambitions move us forward, faster. The more relevant, useful and powerful connections we can make, the greater our impact will be.
