Special arrangements for final assessments
We know that some of you may not be able to sit your final assessments at home. Don't worry, we can help.
This is not an application for special consideration – it's a request for special arrangements if you have an unsuitable home environment.
If you’re registered with Disability Support Services, you should discuss alternative assessment arrangements with your Disability Adviser.
Semester one final assessments
If you don’t have an appropriate home environment for remote eExams, you can apply for special arrangements to sit your eExams at Clayton campus.
During the current COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, you’re permitted to travel more than 25km to sit your final assessment on campus. However, you can apply for special consideration to sit a deferred exam in August if you’re unable to come to campus due to:
- travel and/or state border restrictions
- Victorian Government COVID-19 health advice
- a travel distance of more than 75km to Clayton campus.
Unsuitable home environment
Wherever possible, you should make arrangements for a suitable environment to complete your final assessment off campus. But if this isn’t possible (e.g. a poor internet connection or you don’t have access to a quiet, private space), you can apply to complete your assessment on campus.
If your application is approved, we’ll email you to confirm the details of your on-campus assessment arrangements.
Malaysia campus: On-campus arrangements are not possible this semester.
Apply for special arrangements
Applications for special arrangements are closed.
However, if your home environment unexpectedly becomes unsuitable in the lead up to your final assessment, you can request to sit your assessment on campus by contacting Monash Connect.
If you've already applied, we’ll email you to let you know the outcome of your application.
