This full day event included workshops on networking, LinkedIn and developing a tech-savvy profile.
Monash University has a long history of launching companies that stem from research to have real-world impact. This event enabled students to discover the entrepreneurial potential of their PhD research and the pathway to launching a start-up.
Students found out about the many mentoring opportunities available at Monash. Students and alumni shared their reflections on being mentees and mentors and the value of these experiences.
We heard from students who completed a Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums (GLAM) internship experience in the Monash Libraries. Students presenting were of varied disciplines, ranging from Music, History and Korean Studies to IT and Design.
The Leadership 101 workshop included a range of activities that led students to explore what leadership means, and how leadership skills can increase independence and employability.
