Timetables use abbreviations for unit information and class locations. Here's a guide to understanding what they mean.
Class locations
Unit information abbreviations look like this: ATS1326_CA_S2_DAY
Their four parts are:
- Unit code (from the Handbook)
- Numbers starting with 1 are first year units
- 2nd and 3rd year units start with 2 and 3
- Campus code
- AL - Alfred
- BE - Berwick
- CA - Caulfield
- CI - City
- CL - Clayton
- PA - Parkville
- PE - Peninsula
- Teaching period
- S1 - Semester 1
- S2 - Semester 2
- FY - Full year
- SSA - Summer Semester A
- SSB - Summer Semester B
- Class type
- DAY - Day class
- EVENING - Evening class
- DE - Distance education
- ONLINE - Fully electronic delivery
