Uni life can be complicated at first, so this site will help make it a little easier to navigate your first semester at Monash. The weeks listed here represent the twelve teaching weeks of semester. Just start scrolling to browse topics to see important deadlines to help you manage your studies each week.
The international current students website has a list of all services and support available at Monash, including academic, health, safety, social and employability. You can filter by topic, campus and faculty to find what you need.
24/7 Self-service options
Most questions you have, will have probably been asked by other students. So ask our virtual assistant a question or search our FAQs for answers to frequently asked questions 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Most topics are covered, from ID cards, enrolments, fees, financial assistance, where to get course advice and much, much more.
Disability Support Services (DSS)
If you have a disability, mental health condition, or ongoing medical condition – or you're a carer for someone who does – we can help you study independently. You can access disability services and arrangement adjustments, including flexibility in assignment deadlines and alternative arrangements for final assessments. All you need to do is register with DSS and make an appointment with a Disability Adviser. See our Disability Support Services site for all the details.
If you don't find what you're looking for, using our self-service options, send us your questions and our friendly Monash Connect team will provide you with an answer, or direct you to the appropriate service. Alternatively, give them a call on +61 3 9902 6011 and they'll be happy to help you.
