Orientation program

Get a head start on orientation with our program of events and opportunities to connect with your peers and faculty members.

Events and activities

Check our Orientation website to see what’s planned in the coming weeks and what you can get involved in now.

On 1 February, the Orientation site will list the full suite of events that are planned during O-Week. You'll be able to use our Orientation Planner to create a personalised outline of the events you'd like to attend.

Then from 16–17 February, we're holding our Digital O-Fair. This is a virtual event that will equip you with essential information on the support we offer and how you can get involved in clubs and societies. You can attend live panel sessions, explore digital booths and get your questions answered.

The official O-Week program offers events held both in-person and online, and runs the week before classes start, from 21-25 February. Over five days, you'll attend welcome events, gain critical course and faculty information, take campus tours and more! There'll also be a range of fun after-hours events you can join in on.

To help you feel part of the Monash community straight away, you can join the Monash Amigo social network to help you get to know other Monash students from all around the world, join interest groups, chat and get advice from senior students. You might also like to check out the Monash University Students pages on Facebook @monashuniversitystudents and Instagram @monash_unistudents.
