Returning to study (Re-admission)
Former Monash graduate research students who have withdrawn from their course within the last four years and had their enrolment ceased in accordance with the Graduate Research Re-admission Procedures are eligible to apply for re-admission.
Only former students who wish to complete the research project started in their previous course can apply for re-admission. Students who intend to commence a new research project are required to submit a new application for admission.
Considerations prior to submitting an application:
- You should discuss your intention to seek re-admission with your previous supervisor. Alternatively, if you are unable to contact your previous supervisor, please speak to your faculty.
- The structure of your previous course may have changed since you were last enrolled. If so, you will be subject to the requirements of the new course structure.
- If the prior course is no longer offered by the University, you will be required to apply for an equivalent course.
- Re-admission is not guaranteed. Applications are subject to approval by the relevant Academic Unit, Faculty and Graduate Research Committee
