Indonesian Women in STEM scholarships

This scholarship scheme supports high-achieving female graduate researchers from Indonesia to conduct research in STEM disciplines. Female STEM scholars are currently underrepresented in higher education. This scheme is part of our efforts to address this, by encouraging more women to take the next step in their STEM careers. The aim is to help overcome environmental and social barriers women face that might impede the progress of their academic careers.

Monash is offering living allowance (stipend) scholarships. Successful applicants will be encouraged to apply to an Indonesian sponsor, such as the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LDPD), who may provide financial support to cover the Tuition Fees and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

The benefits of this scholarship include a living allowance (stipend) provided by Monash University. The RTP Scholarship Policy and Procedures, including eligibility and provisions apply.

A relocation allowance is available for awardees who relocate their place of residence to Victoria from interstate or from overseas.
