National Industry PhD Program

This exciting program will equip PhD scholars with stronger skills in industry-research engagement, powerfully deepening links between industry and the research community. The National Industry PhD Program will forge new links between universities and industry, and create an array of new career opportunities for PhD scholars.

The National Industry PhD Program has two streams.

The Industry Linked PhD stream offers PhD candidates at universities a stipend boost and support to work on research projects co-designed by universities and industry.

The Industry Researcher PhD stream supports researchers employed by Australian businesses to do a PhD while retaining their job and salary in industry.
