How to receive your documents

Once your award is conferred in a graduation round, you’ll get access to official digital copies of your graduation documents. Conferral is when you officially become a graduate and can use any titles associated with your award.

Attending a ceremony

If attending a ceremony, you’ll receive your award certificate in hard copy on the stage.

You’ll also receive information about how to access digital copies of your graduation documents.

Graduating in absentia

Even if you’re not attending a ceremony, your award is conferred at the same time as those who attend, so you don’t get your document any earlier.

Your hard copy certificate will be available after the graduation round. We’ll email you about six weeks before the round to let you know how to request delivery of your certificate by mail. You cannot collect your certificate in person.

Dates to receive your certificate (hard copy)

From the opening date of your graduation round, you can request delivery of your award certificate by mail.

You can log in as a past student to make the request in WES. There's no charge for your certificate – you just pay a shipping fee:

  • within Australia and Malaysia AUD$18
  • all other locations AUD$58
