The ESSENCE of Health six-week program aims to enhance wellbeing and sustainable performance and prevent and manage chronic illness.
It's a comprehensive lifestyle program underpinned by strategies such as mindfulness, enhancing motivation, goal setting and behaviour change. You'll develop practical skills to apply the model to your personal and professional life.
ESSENCE is an acronym for:

The program was developed by Associate Professor Craig Hassed, an expert in mind/body medicine and mindfulness. For a number of years, it's been core curriculum for medical and allied health students within the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.
