Sarah is Monash University’s Pro Vice-Chancellor (Enterprise), a position held alongside Deputy Dean, External Relations. Sarah is responsible for the strategic management of industry, government, philanthropic and International relationships for the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. Sarah enthusiastically lead the establishment of the Monash Institute for Health and Clinical  Education as a flagship initiative of both the Faculty of Medicine Nursing and Health Sciences, and the university.

As Deputy Dean, External Relations, Sarah has led numerous large scale initiatives such as the creation of four major Research and Education institutes; the Hudson Medical Research Institute, the Monash Institute of Medical Engineering, the Monash Institute for Health Professional Education, and the Institute for Safety, Compensation and Recovery Research, a partnership between TAC and WorkSafe. Currently, Sarah has the lead role on behalf the University in the development of the Victorian Heart Hospital.

Previously, Sarah was the Executive Director Research for the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research, where she directed strategic University initiatives and oversaw the operations of the University Research portfolio, and prior to this was Director of Industry Engagement, at Monash University.

Sarah also has responsibility for international student recruitment for the Faculty and in addition is responsible for directing numerous major projects in the Middle East and China. Internationally Sarah has worked with governments from Korea, Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia, as well as directing governance training on behalf of AusAID.
