Disruptive research | Foster emerging research in areas that will provide the next generation of agrifood system technologies. |

Inspire | Provide learning and extension opportunities for students to apply their skills in technology to solve real-world challenges in the agricultural sector. |
Industry Driven | Research priorities are defined by the needs identified by industry participants such as primary producers and growers. |
Translation | The primary focus is on translational research that will lead to the development of new products and technologies that will have significant benefits to securing food supply and nutritional quality of our produce. |
Partnerships | Development of close partnerships with growers, technologists and allied organisations such as CSIRO and Rural Research & Development Centres (RDCs) to ensure the development, commercialisation and adoption of our technologies. |
Multidisciplinary teams | Using our collaborative research network, create multidisciplinary teams to generate innovative solutions to challenges across agrifood systems. |
Open Innovation | Provide a platform where collaboration across academia, government and industry can thrive. |
