BioCurate was formed in June 2016 by Monash University and the University of Melbourne, with support from the Victorian State Government, to take important discoveries out of the lab and into the real world. Their aim is to addresses key challenges in early stage therapeutic development through funding and further research, to overcome common barriers to success. BioCurate was founded with the mission to translate medical research outputs into high quality pre-clinical candidates. Their focus is to triage and prioritise early stage research opportunities with significant clinical potential and their goal is to be a recognised global leader in the translation of basic medical research into human therapeutics.
Monash is delighted to be able to work closely with the team at BioCurate towards real world health impacts.
Pio Therapeutics is the first company launched by BioCurate.
