The third annual ‘Shaping the Future of Railway’ industry-student engagement event hosted by the Institute of Railway Technology (IRT) in conjunction with the Monash University Faculty of Engineering, took place on Tuesday 11 September 2018 at Monash University, Green Chemical Futures building. This well attended event was supported by several senior railway managers and engineers from the Australian railway industry.

IHHA 2015 will be held 21-24 June at the wolrd-class Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre and will be complemented by an exhibition of cutting-edge organisations operating in the heavy-haul sector.

The Stephen Marich Annual Lecture in Railway Engineering was organised by the Institute of Railway Technology, the leading track and vehicle railway research centre in Australia. This annual railway indutry event honoured the 40 year contribution of Dr Stephen Marich to the industry. Dr Marich is one of the pioneers of heavy haul railway research in Australia.
