We are delighted to invite you to the exclusive launch of Monash University's Blockchain Technology Centre (MBTC) at our Clayton campus.
MBTC will bring together world-leading expertise from across the University to explore and develop the technology of blockchain, and create impact across a variety of industrial and societal sectors.
From FinTech to supply chain management - MBTC will demonstrate the usability of blockchain technology, along with its practical outcomes and impact on society, both locally and internationally.
The centre will develop new technologies and research for use in blockchain systems, introduce blockchain topics into the curriculum of other research areas and provide targeted training and micro-credentials to industry members.
A key purpose of the centre is to identify how blockchain can be applied within big business to improve security systems, data protection and cloud storage. To this end, Monash BTC has established strong relationships with industry partners such as Collinstar, Data61, the Oceania Cyber Security Centre and international universities across China and Hong Kong.
Join key industry partners and keynote speakers, Professor Ann Nicholson, Dean of IT Jon Whittle and MBTC Director Joseph Liu to officially launch the centre.
Our key industry partners will join us for the official launch.
