Event description

Digital health is seen as a modern paradigm that holds great promise in bringing greater equity to healthcare and to the maintenance of wellness in citizens.

The panellists will discuss the challenges and opportunities around digital health in the region. This includes funding for research and development in digital health, where models of “social investment” proposed in the region may benefit and highlight barriers to long term success such as health funding constraints, operational incentivisation, citizen engagement, and stability in R & D frameworks for what can often be long term work programs centred on multidimensional partnerships.
