Research Institutes and Labs
Our labs include:
SensiLab: An interdisciplinary research facility designed to tackle the challenges of the internet age, by bringing together researchers from any discipline to initiate disruptive change and protoype technology of the future.
CAVE2: This facility takes the next step in visual computation. It combines the benefits of scalable resolution display walls and virtual-reality systems to create a seamless 2D/3D virtual reality environment at a resolution matching human acuity.
Monash Swarm Robotics Laboratory: This multi-disciplinary team of researchers collaborate on cutting-edge research areas such as mathematical modelling of swarm behaviour, swarm intelligence, distributed sensing, machine learning, wireless communication and swarm robotics.

Monash Energy Materials and Systems Institute (MEMSI) is dedicated to undertaking research and development that will lead to the creation of new and innovative products and services for deployment in the energy sector across the globe.
The Monash Institute of Medical Engineering (MIME), fosters and coordinates translational medtech research across Monash University faculties, partner hospitals and collaborating medical research institutions.
