APPLICATION DEVELOPER INTERNSHIP

Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace business is a major manufacturer of aero engines for all sectors of the airliner and corporate jet market. Rolls-Royce powers more than 35 types of commercial aircraft and has almost 13,000 engines in service around the world. Demand for our products remains robust and underpins strong performance.

In the Corporate market, Rolls-Royce is the market leader and powers the fastest, the longest-range, and the largest business jets. In the past decade, our engines have powered seven new business jets into service, contributing to a total Rolls-Royce powered corporate fleet of more than 2,400 aircraft. Rolls-Royce holds more than a third of the regional market with the AE 3007 engines powering almost 1,000 Embraer aircraft

In this 1-year / 6-months internship you will be developing large scaled Web Applications for the Civil Aerospace industry. Applications could range from developing Search Engines, Wiki, Workflows, Test Bed Systems and lots more.

Qualifications

-       Experience in Web and Hybrid Application Development

-       Must have worked with RDBMS(Oracle, MySQL or Equivalent)

-       Familiar with Data Structures(Array, Binary Trees, Linked List, JSON)

-       Must be a strong coder with the following Programming Languages:

Javascript, Html/Html5, CSS, SQL, Java, Python

-       Experience in Angular 1.xx / 2  MVC and Django could help as well

Applicant Requirements

  1. You should be from the School of Computer Science and Information Technology pursuing either your Masters or Bachelors.
  2. Grades will not affect your chances for this internship.
  3. Please have a copy of your Web Database Application assignment during the interview.
  4. The paid internship is in Berlin, Germany*. So be ready for a 2018 European Summer!

*Rolls-Royce is located in Dahlewitz, Blankenfelde Mahlow, which is 30min+ train ride from berlin.
