University of California Berkeley - Study Abroad

An exciting opportunity exists for suitably qualified FIT Masters students to spend second semester studying at the School of Information at the University of California, Berkeley. Berkeley is consistently ranked in the top 10 of world universities, and the School of Information is a graduate school with a multidisciplinary approach dedicated to expanding access to information and to improving its usability, reliability, and credibility while preserving security and privacy.

Students selected for this programme would receive credit into their Monash IT Masters degree.

The exact amount of credit would depend on how much of your degree requirements you have completed, the number of electives you have already taken, and the courses (units) selected at Berkeley.

The Faculty has set aside limited funds in order to support the course fees and living expenses of up to four students selected for the programme.

This programme would best students currently in the second semester of a 2 year full-time Masters.

If you are further into your course you may apply but your course duration may be lengthened.

Interested students will be selected for this programme by the Faculty through a combination of weighted average marks and an interview process.
