All students receive discretionary funding allocation from Monash Abroad (amount TBC) and free Monash travel insurance. Unit-specific scholarships availability TBC.
Participants are also eligible to apply for the Monash Global Scholarship or an OS-HELP loan.
Costs for the program are $1300 per student* (subject to currency exchange rates).
These cover:
- use of facilities at Prato Centre, Italy
- welcome and farewell lunches
Extra costs that must be born by students:
- airfare to and from Italy
- visas (if required)
- train to / from Prato (e.g. from Rome or Milan airports, surrounding towns for study trips)
- accommodation (organised through Monash)
- food
- miscellaneous expenses, souvenirs etc.
* Enrolment in the 6 point unit (FIT2105) will also incur standard unit fees at CSP or international rates.
Refund Policy
Where the program fees (excluding tuition fees) are paid to the University* and until the student’s Travel Insurance policy is active**, the refund policy outlined in the table below will apply:

*Where application and/or other program fees are paid to an external travel service provider by the University on behalf of the student, the cancellation and refund policy of the travel service provider will be applied instead of the Faculty’s policy.
**Once Monash Abroad has approved the student’s ISP application, the student’s travel insurance policy becomes active and students would need to make any relevant claims for refunds to the travel insurance provider.
