This seminar has been organized by NEED (the Network for Equity through Digital Health) and is focused on how digital health can contribute to better health policy. We have exciting presentations to illustrate the opportunities for digital health and health policy across Southeast Asia and Australia.

Dr Mohamad Fadli bin Kharie, from the Ministry of Health in Malaysia, will be presenting on the Health Datawarehouse and the development of a GIS mapping tool for COVID-19 outbreaks. Assoc. Prof. David Taniar from Monash Australia, will be presenting his research with the Victorian government to use GIS data to inform the expansion of public homebirth programs. Finally, Maesy Angelina and Sriganesh Lokanathan from Pulse Lab Jakarta will be presenting their work with the government of West Java in Indonesia to use a mix of conventional and non-conventional data sources to develop a digital tool to predict COVID-19 outbreaks and inform movement restriction policies. They are now scaling this work to the national level.

We hope you will join us for this exciting seminar!
