With the option to finish a certificate in as little as six months, these courses are ideal ways to expand your skills and fast-track a relevant master’s degree.

Enrolling is easy. Simply head to your selected certificate’s page via study.monash, scroll down to ‘Application and fees’ and follow the instructions.
Yes! The credits you get from our graduate certificates can count towards a relevant master’s degree in AI, cybersecurity, data science, business information systems, IT or computer science.
That means you could receive two major qualifications in a shorter amount of time.

The majority of our graduate certificates have blended learning, meaning the courses are delivered through a combination of online and in-person classes. The Graduate Certificate of Computer Science offers online learning only.
All our graduate certificates are worth 24 credit points. These can be used to fast-track a relevant master’s degree.
All our graduate certificates, except the Graduate Certificate of Business Information Systems and Graduate Certificate of Computer Science, require an Australian bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to IT, business (with mathematics), Engineering or Science.
You must also have a 60% or higher grade average (or equivalent), and have completed studies in mathematics, programming, databases, computer architecture or equivalent – depending on the graduate certificate you want to pursue.

The majority of these short courses involve on-campus classes in Melbourne, allowing you to enjoy our vibrant community and network with like-minded peers.
The exception is the Graduate Certificate of Computer Science, which is fully online.
These certificates are not open to international students, however we do have a range of other graduate courses available for this cohort.
