Application steps Due dates for Monash Law Malaysia Program
  • Ensure you re-enrol during re-enrolment period (8 October and 28 November) for Semester 1 and Semester 2 2019 so that you do not incur any financial penalties

By end of Semester 2 2018
  • Applications will open for 2019 on 1 November 2018.
  • Applications will close for 2019 on Friday 1 March 2019.
  • Applications can be made via the Monash Abroad Portal or MAP until Friday 1 March 2019.

  • Receive email confirmation of your place in the program and instructions on unit enrolment.
Dependent on when you apply, late-January, mid-February or mid-March 2019.
Students will be advised via email regarding these points as soon as possible.
  • Book flights and accommodation

Students will be notified by email that they have been enrolled into the units. Flights and accommodation should NOT be booked before receiving this email from the Law Faculty as the timetable dates and offerings are only provisional and may change.

Application process - partner university students

  • Partner university students must contact the administrative officer from your home university and advise your interest in the Monash Law Malaysia Program.

  • The administrative officer from your home university will forward your details to Monash Law.

  • You will be enrolled in the Monash University Program Course code 3357 and issued with a Monash University Student ID number.

  • You will liaise with the administrative officer from your home university at all times.

  • You are responsible for ensuring your passport is up to date, booking flights, accommodation, meals, incidentals and arranging appropriate travel insurance and visas.

  • An administration fee is to be paid to the administrative officer from your home university when requested.

Application process - Study Abroad students

Students must submit the Monash Abroad Form by the end of the first week in May.

Application process  - cross-institutional study students

Students must submit the Cross-institutional application form found on the cross-institutional webpage by the end of the second week in May.
